Jon is experiencing a terrible allergic reaction to a medication. Yesterday, when I talked to his wonderful allergist by phone, I thought she told me he should take 3 Benadryl tablets every 4-6 hours. Today we found out that she actually said to take 3 to start, but then take only one tablet every 4-6 hours following.
So basically, I have been having my husband take three times as much Benadryl as he was supposed to take. I wondered why he was sleeping so much…
