This is why I love your blog so much! Now that my youngest is out of babyhood, I don’t keep up with this type of news, yet I do love to hear about it. (And your post about AAP was spot on). After I read the anti-breastfeeding article in The Atlantic, I had this squeamish feeling there was something going on in a larger sense on how breastfeeding was being unfairly criticized.
I agree, her piece was fantastic. I ended up blogging about it pretty extensively myself. It would be nice if that kind of thinking would gain more traction in these “debates”.
