Great family photos and story of your Grandmothers connection to Ryan O’Neals wife, Joanna Moore. Thanks for posting. There are always two sides, right. This is interesting about Joanna. Have you ever spoke to Tatum o’ Neal and told her about her mothers love for her, and Griffin? Did Ryan love Farrah as he claims or was it an obsessive relationship? Hollywood is no place to raise kids with the lack of morals and the drugs. They all need to go to church and confession. Children need to be loved and to feel safe, and to have good parents to show by example. Children don’t get their childhood back…it is too bad that this O’Neal family is so damaged. Forgiveness, counseling, prayers and love is all needed by all of them.

The dog, Sweetheart, wound up being one of the two best dogs I’ve ever owned. I was always grateful to Joanna for choosing us as Sweetheart’s new family. You’re right, Katie, Joanna loved loved loved her children, but fought demons. She was the breadwinner when she and Ryan O’Neal were young, appearing regularly in shows such as Andy of Mayberry. Joanna was a very pretty sweet woman from Thomasville, Ga., who wound up with a man who totally broke her heart and spirit.
