It's the only sport I can bear to watch on TV. It has the huge advantage that you can play by yourself - it's fun to play with other people, but they aren't necessary. You can play all your life, as long as you're mobile. Have you ever seen the Simpsons episode "Dead Putting Society"? I love the scene where Lisa goes to the library with Bart to look up reference material on golf, and pulls out the most important one: the Tao Te Ching. Golf is the only sport I’ve ever played.
