No blogging from me in recent days – either here or over at my Babble blog – because I’ve been hospitalized (still am) with some medical condition that has yet to be determined but that could be related to my thyroid, my blood, my lymphatic system, and/or some kind of nasty virus.
Since I was admitted to the hospital on Friday, I’ve seen many types of doctors, I’ve had two biopsies (one skin and one lymph node on my neck), three CAT scans, an MRI…. Every possibility from West Nile Virus to Lymphoma has been thrown out there. I am very nervous to hear what the endocrinologist and oncologist tell me when we have the consults with them today. Mostly, I want to hear that the possibility of lymphoma has been taken off the table as a potential diagnosis. That’s what I want to hear today.
Plus, I really miss my children, and I am eager to get back to work because I am soooooo behind on several important projects. This situation is most inconvenient.
More later.
