It explained the use of these tools well for people who don't really use them now, in such a way that they might consider starting up with Facebook or Twitter. I like the 'who you know' and 'what you know' point, too. I know a lot of people are using it now, but it doesn't sound right to me. I would say 'increase business.' Neither does 'gift' as a verb. Why can't people say 'give'? The only reason I bring it up is that you're a lover of words and obviously a good writer. Are these usages still incorrect, or have they become accepted in writing circles?
