Name That Baby!

Because we had the CVS test at only 13 weeks, we already know the baby’s gender; she’s a girl – a teensy, little three inch long female-proto-human. And now that we know she’s a girl, I can begin my name obsessing in earnest. Only this time, there isn’t much obsessing. I feel pretty sure that we know her name already. It’s Georgia.

Georgia Allison LastName.

I already find myself patting my tummy and calling her “Miss Georgia,” and “Sweet Georgia,” and yes, even the quite ridiculously sublime, “Georgia Peach.” Because at this point in her gestational progress, she is actually covered with fuzz.

Sure, there are other names in consideration, but I think she’s Georgia. We’ll see.
