Rebecca Woolf of Girls Gone Child.
A – She’s perhaps the most gorgeous pregnant person ever, in the history of pregnant persons. And it’s not all Photoshop woowoo make-believe either. SHE REALLY LOOKS THAT GOOD AT 32 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH TWINS! I know this because I spoke to her myself (and gave her a hug and patted her perfect belly) while I was at BlogHer earlier this month.
B – Her design aesthetic is exactly what mine would be if, y’know, I actually had a design aesthetic. Seriously, every time she posts new photos of the nursery she’s putting together for her babies on the way, or of their blankies and stuff, I find myself wondering why in the world I can never find things that look like that and put them together just so in my own house. Why, I ask you, WHY? Because Rebecca can and does. So surely I could do this…right…RIGHT?!
C – She’s a kickass writer. To wit.
D – She’s an equally talented photographer.
E – She can COOK, and then she takes amazing photos of what she cooks and writes terrific blog posts that make me feel like maybe I could someday cook something that looks that good. (Yeah, I know, it was a fleeting thought, but still, doesn’t Rebecca’s cooking look delish?)
F - She’s super nice. Nothing to link to there except to tell you that I know her and she’s super nice, for realz.
G – She juggles fire and invented the internet.
(Okay, that last one isn’t true as far as I know, but it might be)
Anyway, if you’ve never read Rebecca’s blog before, I encourage you to add it to your regulars. It’s a great favorite of mine. Just be sure to type GirlsGoneChild -Dot -NET into your browser and not GirlsGoneChild – Dot-COM. The former will take you to Rebecca Woolf’s blog; the latter…not so much (NSFW).
“Bloggers I Wish I Were More Like” is a new, semi-regular feature I am launching here at Mamapundit to tell y’all more about the blogs and bloggers that are my personal favorites, and why. In the comments below, tell me who you’re reading lately, and what you love about their blogs.
