We had an AWESOME anniversary getaway in Chattanooga. I can’t say enough good things about The Stone Fort Inn, where we stayed. I plan to write in more detail about our impressions of The Inn, and of how amazing Chattanooga has become as a real city – much like a mini-inside-the-beltway-Atlanta- but for now, here are some photos of our 5th anniversary weekend.
At Lupi’s Pizza on Market St., a longtime fave of our whole family.
Scenes from The Stone Fort Inn, where we stayed. At 10th and Georgia. We were able to walk everywhere from The Inn. No driving required.
The view from inside the jacuzzi on our cute, tiny private balcony.
The hallway outside our room.
Downstairs at The Stone Fort Inn.
A late supper at Terminal Brewhouse , next door to Chattanooga Choo Choo. We sat on the roof, which had an awesome view.
Evening stroll around Chattanooga.
View from Chattanooga’s fantastic wood-and -metal pedestrian bridge heading from the North Shore Arts District to downtown.
Some people like trying the local wines when they go places. Jon & I like local brew-tastings.
Best signage of weekend.
Happily married moi. And some iphoneography self portraiture: me at almost 44 ( I will turn 44 on September 25)
