Now, let's hope she doesn't knock over a pew or a piano!
Love to your family on this special day!

She's so beautiful! I love the gown–is that a family heirloom? I hope you all have a wonderful day
So beautiful!
I've been following your blog since Henry was hospitalized and never commented. However, when I saw this picture of G today it brought tears to my eyes and I couldn't quite figure out why. After some thought its because she looks like a beautiful angel, and really she does. After so much heartbreak you've been through I'm so very happy you have that beautiful baby to lift you up each day.
Please dish on that *amazing* Christening dress — it is breathtaking!!
Thanks, all for the well wishes. It was a very sweet day. As for G's christening gown, it's Edwardian vintage and I ordered it from an antiques dealer in England when my 9 year old nephew McLean was born as a special baby gift. Our family had 2 heirloom christening gowns that were well over 100 years old when my son Henry was born (he was the oldest of this newest generation in our family). After Henry and the next few siblings, cousins were christened in these 2 gowns, they were so fragile that they really needed to e packed away rather than worn again. So I decided to mark the births of the next 2 babies born in our family by gifting each of them with a vintage christening dress that could start a new tradition on our family, and this is the one I got for McLean.
The photo of Danger Baby and her Auntie B made me cry.
She is such a beautiful baby, Katie!
