C was SO disappointed when we didn’t get to leave for Bell Buckle this morning as planned. She couldn’t wait to see everyone. And with her older sibs away until Sunday, and her younger one vomiting all over the place, she was also extremely bored and very eager to go spend today with her Knoxville grandparents, helping her Mimi cook for the Thanksgiving meal they are serving tomorrow instead of today (out of town relatives can’t come til Friday.) I’m glad she’s having a nice day and maybe she won’t catch whatever her little sister has. I hope not anyway.

So yep, it’s just Jon, me, G and Wibbly Pig holed up here at Casa Hickju today. We’re all still in our pajamas. And boy, am I jealous of all of you who have already or soon will be tucking into delish turkey, dressing and all the rest. Have a few extra bites for me, will ya?
