This is the first year since Henry died that I’ve wanted to put all of our outdoor Christmas lights up. I also decided I wanted light up Henry’s tree for the holidays – the beautiful little weeping Japanese maple that our friends and neighbors planted in our front yard during the first days after Henry died.

I think it looks fantastic all twinkly in the night.
